Ingredients

  • 3 c. fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 c. lightly salted butter or margarine, melted

Method

  • Heat oven to 325°. Grease a 9-inch pie plate or fluted quiche dish.
  • Add cranberries and sprinkle with nuts, raisins and 3/4 cup sugar.
  • In a medium size bowl, beat egg with the remaining 1/4 cup sugar.
  • Add flour and butter.
  • Beat until no lumps remain.
  • Pour over berry mixture and bake 45 minutes until crust is a light golden brown.
  • Makes 8 to 10 servings.
