Ingredients

  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. softened butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. chopped frozen or fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Sift dry ingredients together.
  • Beat together butter, sugar, eggs and sour cream.
  • Mix with dry ingredients just until flour is mixed in.
  • Fold in cranberries and pecans.
  • Pour in greased muffin pan.
  • Before baking, sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, mixed.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Makes 2 dozen.
