Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) can crabmeat, drained
- 1 c. shredded Swiss or Mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 c. minced green onions
- 1 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper
- parsley sprigs
- 1 (9-inch) deep dish pastry shell
Method
- Bake at 425° the deep dish pie crust for 5 minutes.
- Prick bottom and sides of pastry.
- Sprinkle crabmeat, cheese, green onions and 1 tablespoon parsley evenly into pastry shell.
- Combine next 4 ingredients; stir well.
- Pour over crabmeat mixture.
- Bake in 325° oven for 35 to 40 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
