- 1 lb. crab meat
- 1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. minced onion flakes
- 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- paprika for top
- 1 slice white bread, cubed without crust
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
Method
- Melt margarine in pan. Mix in flour.
- Slowly add milk, stirring constantly to keep smooth.
- Cook until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
- Mix in onion, Worcestershire sauce and bread cubes.
- Cool.
- Fold in
- mayonnaise, salt and pepper.
