Ingredients

  • 1 lb. dungeness crab meat
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion and garlic
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Old Bay seasoning (2 tablespoons or to taste)
  • Tabasco - few drops
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)

Method

  • 1. Cook onion and celery in 3 to 4 tablespoons butter - put in bowl
  • 2. Add crab and bread crumbs
  • 3. Whisk together egg; mustard; W. sauce; seasoning; tabasco and mayonnaise.
  • Place crab cakes onto an oiled sheet pan.
  • Place in refrigerator over night covered with saran wrap.
  • Bake 12 mins. at 425 F.
