Ingredients
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 5 c. chilled milk
- 1 lb. crab meat
- salt to taste
- about 2 c. diced potatoes
- about 2 c. asparagus
Method
- Cook potatoes and asparagus; set aside.
- Melt margarine in pan and stir in flour, mixing until smooth.
- Remove from heat and gradually add chicken broth.
- Add pepper and return to heat, stirring until blended and thickened.
- Slowly, add milk.
- Stir in crab, potatoes and asparagus.
- Heat thoroughly.
- Do not boil!
