Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crab (fresh, frozen or canned)
  • 3 c. cooked rice
  • 1/4 lb. Jack cheese, cubed
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped canned green chillies
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3/4 c. crushed corn chips
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 c. white wine
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1/2 sliced carrot
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 8 sprigs parsley
  • 2 tsp. dill
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 tsp. ginger
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 6 crushed peppercorns
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • peel of 1/2 lemon

Method

  • Strain through a sieve and throw solids away.
