Ingredients

  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (53 oz.) can Van de Kamp's pork and beans
  • 1 c. ketchup
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 c. A.1. steak sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard

Method

  • Chop onions and green pepper and saute in butter until limp. Set aside.
  • Brown ground beef and drain.
  • Add onions and pepper mixture and allow to simmer on low for 10 minutes until dry. Drain, if necessary.
