- 1 large green pepper
- 1 medium onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 (53 oz.) can Van de Kamp's pork and beans
- 1 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. A.1. steak sauce
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Method
- Chop onions and green pepper and saute in butter until limp. Set aside.
- Brown ground beef and drain.
- Add onions and pepper mixture and allow to simmer on low for 10 minutes until dry. Drain, if necessary.
