Ingredients

  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • snack size rye bread slices, toasted English muffins or bagels
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 green onions with tops, minced
  • parsley sprigs
  • stuffed green olives, sliced

Method

  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, cheeses and green onions. Spread on bread; place on a baking sheet.
  • Broil 4 inches from the heat until golden and bubbly, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and olives.
  • Serve immediately.

  • 2 cups spread.
