Ingredients
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. white vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 to 4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Method
- Cook onion in oil until tender.
- Stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, salt and dry mustard.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
- Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Makes 1 1/2 cups.
