Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 lb. pasteurized processed cheese, sliced
Method
- Brown ground beef in skillet.
- Drain off excess fat.
- Add onion and cook until tender.
- Blend in tomatoes, tomato paste, salt and chili powder.
- Spread half of meat mixture in 1-quart casserole dish.
- Arrange half of cheese slices over meat mixture. Top with remaining meat mixture.
