- 2 (12 oz.) cans corned beef, cubed
- 4 c. diced potatoes
- 1/4 c. ketchup
- water to cover
- 1 c. frozen peas
- 1 c. sliced onions
- 3 c. Masar Dal (see recipe)
- 1 1/4 lb. small cauliflower
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1 Tbsp. ground coriander
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/3 tsp. turmeric
- 1 c. water
- salt to taste
- 1 (14 oz.) can tomato wedges
- 2 Tbsp. Usli Ghee or vegetable oil or butter
- 1 Tbsp. black mustard seed
- 1 tsp. garlic, minced
Method
- In a 5-quart microwave-safe casserole, cook onions in small amount of water, 8 minutes or until tender, stirring after 4 minutes.
