Ingredients

  • 2 (12 oz.) cans corned beef, cubed
  • 4 c. diced potatoes
  • 1/4 c. ketchup
  • water to cover
  • 1 c. frozen peas
  • 1 c. sliced onions
  • 3 c. Masar Dal (see recipe)
  • 1 1/4 lb. small cauliflower
  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp. ground coriander
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/3 tsp. turmeric
  • 1 c. water
  • salt to taste
  • 1 (14 oz.) can tomato wedges
  • 2 Tbsp. Usli Ghee or vegetable oil or butter
  • 1 Tbsp. black mustard seed
  • 1 tsp. garlic, minced

Method

  • In a 5-quart microwave-safe casserole, cook onions in small amount of water, 8 minutes or until tender, stirring after 4 minutes.
