Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Whole Kernel Corn
  • 1 whole Celery Stalk Finely Chopped
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Chives
  • 1 whole Green Onion, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour

Method

  • Drain canned corn and place in a bowl.
  • Add celery, chives, green onion and seasoning salt.
  • Mix in egg and flour until a bit doughy.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
  • I dont have a deep fryer so I use my big cast iron pot with about 1-1/2 of oil set to medium on my stove top.
  • Cook until golden brown on one side then flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.
  • Mine took about 5 minutes in total, so 2-1/2 minutes per side.
