Ingredients
- 1 can (15 Oz. Can) Whole Kernel Corn
- 1 whole Celery Stalk Finely Chopped
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Chives
- 1 whole Green Onion, Chopped
- 1 teaspoon Seasoning Salt
- 1 whole Egg
- 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
Method
- Drain canned corn and place in a bowl.
- Add celery, chives, green onion and seasoning salt.
- Mix in egg and flour until a bit doughy.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot oil.
- I dont have a deep fryer so I use my big cast iron pot with about 1-1/2 of oil set to medium on my stove top.
- Cook until golden brown on one side then flip and cook until both sides are golden brown.
- Mine took about 5 minutes in total, so 2-1/2 minutes per side.
