Ingredients
- 11 ounces pasta
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 4 ounces white cheddar grated Vermont
- 4 ounces American cheese white
- pepper
Method
- Stir in milk and cream. ( I have found doing this in the microwave in 1 minute increments, helps prevent scorching of the milk. I usually heat for 1 minute then whisk for 1 minute, and repeat until the desired thickness is achieved)
- When desired thickness is acheived, slowly stir in cheeses.
- Pour over cooked pasta.
