Ingredients

  • 8 oz. tube pasta
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Method

  • Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and rinse in cold water. Place in large bowl. Stir in oil, cucumbers and onion. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over salad and toss. Cover and chill 3 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
