Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 cans cream-style corn
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 medium can pimento, chopped
  • 1 small box Minute rice, cooked
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • grated Cheddar cheese
  • paprika

Method

  • Saute onion in margarine in skillet until lightly browned. Combine all ingredients except cheese and paprika in bowl; mix well.
  • Pour into greased casserole.
  • Bake at 350°
  • for 20 minutes. Cover top thickly with cheese.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake for 15 minutes longer.
