Ingredients

  • 24 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts
  • 8 oz. Cheez Whiz or 1 c. American cheese
  • 1 can French fried onions
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 2/3 c. (1 can) evaporated milk

Method

  • Cook broccoli 4 minutes or until tender.
  • Drain and arrange in buttered casserole.
  • Slice drained water chestnuts.
  • Add cheese over broccoli.
  • Combine soup with milk. Pour over casserole.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Put onions on top and brown approximately 5 minutes.
  • Don't overcook broccoli.
