Ingredients
- 1 large head cabbage, shredded
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 bunch celery, chopped fine
- 1 green pepper, chopped fine
- 1 pimento (optional), cut fine
- 1 tsp. celery seed
- 1 tsp. mustard seed
Method
- To cabbage add salt.
- Let stand one hour or longer at room temperature.
- Then squeeze or press out the liquid with hands. Just grab a handful and squeeze until all cabbage has been pressed.
