Ingredients
- 2 c. plain flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. coconut flavoring
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 8 oz. pkg. frozen coconut
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 1/2 c. sweet milk
- 2 sticks margarine
- 6 eggs
Method
- Mix Crisco and margarine.
- Add sugar.
- Cream until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.
- Add flour and milk. Beat well.
- Add flavoring and coconut.
- Pour into large tube pan and cook at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
