Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. shredded coconut
Method
- Sift sugar.
- Beat egg whites with salt until stiff.
- Very slowly, add sugar beating constantly.
- Fold in vanilla and coconut.
- Drop from teaspoon onto greased and floured cookie sheet.
- Bake at 300° about 25 minutes.
- Remove quickly from pan. Makes 4 dozen.
