- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
- 1/3 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
- 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly
Method
- Mix the first 7 ingredients together.
- Crumble bread crumbs into mix (toast bread to make it dry).
- Mix thoroughly; shape into 1-inch balls.
- Melt shortening in skillet and brown meatballs. Pour off excess shortening.
- Add jelly in skillet and melt.
- Add chili sauce, stirring constantly.
- Add meatballs; stir until thoroughly coated.
- Pour all into chafing dish.
- Serve.
