Ingredients
- 4 cans minced clams (6 to 8 oz.)
- 2 medium onions
- 4 (8 oz.) bottles clam juice
- 5 medium potatoes
- 1/2 lb. bacon, diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. light cream
Method
- Fry bacon until crisp.
- Add onions and potatoes, clams with the juices and clam juice.
- Simmer until potatoes are done. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix flour with a little water; stir into chowder.
- Add the cream.
- Serve at once.
