Ingredients
- 1/2 c. water (warm)
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. lukewarm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 3 c. flour
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water.
- Add about one tablespoon sugar. Set aside.
- In large bowl, put milk, sugar, salt, egg and shortening (stir well).
- Add flour.
- Knead dough about 5 minutes. Let rise 1 hour.
