Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. confectioners sugar
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip
  • 2 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding
  • 3 c. milk
  • 9 oz. Cool Whip
  • chopped nuts

Method

  • Blend together flour, 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar, walnuts and margarine.
  • Press in bottom of ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool.
  • Blend cream cheese and 1 cup confectioners sugar until smooth.
  • Fold in 9 ounce Cool Whip.
  • Spread on first layer.
  • Chill. Mix pudding and milk according to package instructions.
  • Spread on second layer.
  • Chill.
  • Top with 9 ounce Cool Whip and sprinkle with some chopped walnuts.
