Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (14 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1 box spaghetti

Method

  • Brown meat and onion; drain.
  • Put meat and onion in crock-pot (4-quart). Add the rest of the ingredients. Cook slowly, covered, 4 to 5 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving. Serve on cooked spaghetti with shredded cheese.
  • Serves 6 to 8.
