Ingredients
- 2 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. toasted walnuts
- 1 c. chutney
- 1 tsp. curry powder
Method
- Let cheese stand at room temperature 6 to 8 hours.
- Roll 1/2 of soft cheese between 2 pieces of wax paper to 1/8-inch thickness.
- Repeat with other half.
- Spread softened cream cheese over the rolled out cheese to cover it completely.
- Toast nuts 10 minutes in 300° oven.
- In food processor or blender, chop nuts; add remaining ingredients and spread over the cheese.
- Roll the cheese with the help of the wax paper, sealing the ends of the roll.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Serve with crackers.
- May be frozen.
