Ingredients
- 1 jar (12 oz.) fillet of herring in wine sauce, drained, cut into 1/4- to 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup chopped seeded cucumber
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/8 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
Method
- Mix all ingredients until well blended; cover.
- Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.
- Serve with matzo.
