Ingredients
- 6 medium size potatoes
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. tarragon vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- cornstarch or flour
Method
- Cook potatoes, then peel and slice.
- Cook bacon until crispy; drain fat.
- Slice onions in same pan as you fried bacon and add water, vinegar and sugar.
- Cover and simmer until onions are soft. Crunch up bacon into pan with onions.
- Thicken with flour or cornstarch and then add potatoes.
- Make all gone.
- Eat and enjoy.
