Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed cooked turkey or chicken
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 cup chow mein noodles
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Method

  • In a bowl, combine the turkey, celery, peas and onions. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Add to turkey mixture and stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  • Just before serving, stir in chow mein noodles and almonds.
