Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. Crisco
- 1/2 c. onions, diced
- 2 c. celery
- 1 lb. veal, cubed
- 1 lb. pork, cubed
- 1 can bean sprouts
- 1 can dry noodles
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Method
- Melt fat in Dutch oven.
- Add meat, onions and fry until brown. Add salt, pepper and water.
- Cook 1 hour.
- Add celery and cook 30 minutes more.
- Make thickening of flour, sugar and soy sauce.
- Add 2 tablespoons water.
- Add to meat mixture and cook until thickened.
- Add drained beans and sprouts.
- Serve on cooked rice (drained).
- Top with noodles.
