Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 extra large eggs
- 3 c. flour, sifted
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. cocoa
Method
- Sift flour and dry ingredients together 2 times.
- Set aside. Cream butter and shortening.
- Add sugar, one cup at a time, and beat well.
- Add eggs one at a time.
- Add flour mixture, alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.
- Spray a Bundt pan with Baker's Joy.
- Bake in a 325° oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
