Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar minus 3 Tbsp.
- 2 c. milk
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 3 Tbsp. oleo
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 egg yolks
Method
- Stir egg yolks into sugar, cocoa and cornstarch.
- Add small amount of milk, stir until smooth then add the rest.
- Bring to a boil over low heat, stir until thick.
- Remove from fire.
- Add oleo and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell.
- Top with meringue.
