Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light Karo syrup
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) deep dish pie shell, unbaked

Method

  • Beat eggs well.
  • Add sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Spread chocolate chips and pecans over bottom of unbaked deep dish pie shell.
  • Pour egg mixture over chips and nuts.
  • Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  • (Cover edge of crust with aluminum foil for part of the baking time if edges are getting too brown.)
