Ingredients
- 2 pkg. ladyfingers
- 4 1/4 lb. bars Baker's German's sweet chocolate
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 4 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 2 c. cream, whipped
- extra whipped cream for garnish
Method
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
- Add water and blend until smooth.
- Add egg yolks and beat vigorously until blended.
- Add powdered sugar; blend.
- Fold in stiff egg whites and whipped cream.
