Ingredients

  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (4 oz.) chocolate instant pudding
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 c. chocolate chips

Method

  • Mix all ingredients with electric mixer, adding chocolate chips after mixture is smooth.
  • Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
  • This cake is delicious, needs no frosting, keeps and serves well!!
  • First used this recipe on a Girl Scout outing; it is a must when Potluck spends a weekend in the Palm Desert/Desert Hot Springs area.
  • And we always need two cakes.
