Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 1/3 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Method

  • Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, pudding mix and vanilla in a large bowl.
  • Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in eggs.
  • Add mixture of flour and baking powder gradually, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
