Ingredients
- 1 small pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Method
- Melt in double boiler the chocolate chips, milk and sugar.
- Let cool.
- Beat egg yolks and add them to chocolate mixture.
- Beat egg whites stiff with electric mixer.
- (Hint:
- This takes about 5 to 10 minutes.
- Whites must stand at peaks when beaters are lifted from bowl.)
- Add whites to mixture.
- Add vanilla and salt.
- Pour into pie crust.
