Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg. German chocolate, shaved
  • 2 Tbsp. confectioners sugar

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Grease and flour a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Pour cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil and water into a large mixing bowl and beat 2 minutes.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and 1/2 of the shaved German chocolate.
  • Pour into prepared pan.
  • Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Mix remaining shaved chocolate and confectioners sugar together.
  • Cool cake 10 minutes and dust with confectioners sugar mix.
