Ingredients
- 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
- 1 can cherry pie filling
- Large marshmallows
- Powdered sugar
Method
- Line bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13 pan with large marshmallows, leaving space between marshmallows.
- Too many marshmallows placed too close together will cause the cake to bake over the sides.
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour cake batter over marshmallows.
- Mix dry jello into the pie filling and spread over cake batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Let cool and then dust with powdered sugar.
