Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry jello
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • Large marshmallows
  • Powdered sugar

Method

  • Line bottom of greased and floured 9 x 13 pan with large marshmallows, leaving space between marshmallows.
  • Too many marshmallows placed too close together will cause the cake to bake over the sides.
  • Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour cake batter over marshmallows.
  • Mix dry jello into the pie filling and spread over cake batter.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Let cool and then dust with powdered sugar.
