Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 pkg. (269 g) Kraft Caramels
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 3 cups sweetened flaked coconut, toasted
  • 1 pkg. (225 g) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Method

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.
  • Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
  • Blend in vanilla.
  • Gradually add flour, mixing well after each addition.
  • Press onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Bake 20 to 25 min.
  • or until lightly browned.
  • Cool 10 min.
  • Microwave caramels and milk in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min.
  • ; stir until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  • Add coconut; mix well.
  • Spread over crust.
  • Melt chocolate as directed on package; drizzle over dessert.
  • Cool completely.
  • Run knife around edges of pan to loosen dessert.
  • Use foil handles to remove dessert from pan before cutting into 32 bars.
