Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 14 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips (or chunks)

Method

  • preheat oven to 350.
  • cream butter, peanut butter and sugars.
  • add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • beat in vanilla.
  • combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • stir in chips.
  • drop by rounded tablespoons onto cookie sheets.
  • bake at 350 for 12-15 mins.
  • cool for 2 mins before removing to wire racks.
