- 1 large or 2 small heads cabbage or 1 bag
- 5 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. Ramen noodles (uncooked)
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 2/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
Method
- Combine chopped cabbage and onions; set aside.
- Melt butter in skillet; crumble noodles (do not use season packet).
- Add almonds; cook, stirring, until lightly browned.
- Add sunflower seeds; toss until lightly browned.
- Remove from heat; set aside to cool.
