Ingredients

  • 1 large or 2 small heads cabbage or 1 bag
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. Ramen noodles (uncooked)
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2/3 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar

Method

  • Combine chopped cabbage and onions; set aside.
  • Melt butter in skillet; crumble noodles (do not use season packet).
  • Add almonds; cook, stirring, until lightly browned.
  • Add sunflower seeds; toss until lightly browned.
  • Remove from heat; set aside to cool.
