Ingredients
- 2 quarter-size crystallized ginger
- 1 Tbsp. peanut oil
- 1 Chinese cabbage
- 1 pkg. fresh mushrooms
- 1 c. cooked chicken
- 1 1/2 qt. chicken broth
- coarse black pepper
Method
- Brown ginger in oil until brown.
- Remove ginger and discard. Wash and cut cabbage in 1-inch lengths.
- Add to oil with broth, mushrooms, chicken and black pepper. Cover.
- Bring to a boil and simmer 5 to 6 minutes.
- I like a lot of black pepper.
