Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground round beef
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. chili seasoning mix
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 can dark red kidney beans (undrained)
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 (11 oz.) can vacuum packed corn, drained
  • 2 c. "Minute" original rice

Method

  • In a large skillet, brown meat on medium-high heat.
  • Drain fat.
  • Add seasoning mix to the meat.
  • Stir in water, beans and tomato sauce.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in corn.
  • Return to boil.
  • Stir in rice; cover.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Let stand 5 minutes.
  • Stir.
  • Serve with shredded cheese and/or sour cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
