Ingredients
- 1 c. chili pulp (or 4 to 6 Tbsp. chili powder and 1 Tbsp. flour, mixed)
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pinch oregano
- 1 small onion, chopped
Method
- Fry onion and garlic in fat.
- Add salt, oregano and chili pulp; add enough water to make a thin gravy.
- Boil for 20 minutes. If a milder sauce is desired, add a beaten egg just before removing from heat, or use more flour and less chili powder.
