- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 (32 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 to 4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 2 (8 oz.) cans kidney beans
Method
- In a large skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender.
- Drain off fat.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.
- Heat to boiling.
- Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, about 30 minutes.
- Stir in beans; heat until
- bubbly.
- Makes 4 servings.
