Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 (32 oz.) cans tomatoes
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 to 4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans kidney beans

Method

  • In a large skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except beans.
  • Heat to boiling.
  • Reduce heat; cook, uncovered, about 30 minutes.
  • Stir in beans; heat until
  • bubbly.
  • Makes 4 servings.
