Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (good quality soy sauce)
  • 1/2 c chicken broth
  • 1 tblsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 whole dried chile peppers (cut in half)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 pound bonless skinless chicken breasts

Method

  • In medium glass dish combine all ingredients. mix well. Add chicken.
  • Marinate up to 24 hours.
  • Preheat grill to high heat & grill chicken until done.
  • Chefs Notes: high quality soy sauce makes all the difference. If can't find good soy sauce use very low-sodium broth.
  • Grilling is a must for this recipe. The taste is not the same when cooked on the stove top.
