Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, cut up in pieces
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 chopped up onion
  • 1 tsp. crushed garlic
  • 1 c. crushed coriander
  • chili powder to taste
  • 1 red pepper, cut in strips
  • 1/4 lb. green peas
  • 3 c. rice
  • salt and pepper
  • cumin
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 c. beer

Method

  • Heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces.
  • In this same oil, fry the onion, garlic, salt, pepper, cumin and coriander and when it is cooked, add the red pepper strips.
  • Add the water and beer.
  • When it comes to a boil, add the rice and cover with lid.
  • Let it cook for 17 minutes and add the green peas.
