Ingredients
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. finely chopped chicken, cooked
- 1/2 c. light cream
Method
- Melt butter in saucepan. Blend in flour. Add milk and cream. Add broth. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and comes to a boil; reduce heat. Stir in chicken and a dash of pepper. Heat again just to a boil. Serve immediately.
- Garnish with snipped parsley and pimento if desired. Serve with warm rolls or breadsticks. Serves 4.
