Ingredients

  • 1 c. uncooked macaroni
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • grated cheese

Method

  • Cook macaroni until tender in boiling water with 2 teaspoons salt.
  • Drain. Cook onion and green pepper until tender. Add flour and blend. Add milk and cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in soup. Add tuna.
  • Pour in 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes in microwave.
